Day 15 - 09/02/2010

So today started for me at 3, yes I slept late I'm very very lazy! But as I said before I didn't get to bed until 4 so that explains that. But yeah I woke up and went straight to Blockbuster to get Bioshock 2, I am now the owner of a copy of that. But yeah when I got home I didn't play it because I want to finish Dante's Inferno first. So I played that from 4-9 with breaks in between and managed to complete it. The last boss was quite annoying until I figured out the best way to beat him. After I worked it out it didn't take too long. The kitchen is pretty gross, you have to wear shoes to go in as the floor is so sticky from the drink.

It's a bit awkward with Hoh Romeo after last night which is understandable, apparently Mezza apologised on facebook but I don't think Hoh Romeo is ok about it. I was in the kitchen with him and he seemed kind of annoyed or upset or something and he was asking about the other guys Mezza was with after he got kicked out. Anyway yeah that's all I've done today and now I'm going to bed, tomorrow as I'm staying at my sisters my post will probably go up Thursday yay.

Thanks ~

Day 14 - 08/02/2010

Ok so it's actually the 9th, but last night I went out and I didn't get back until 4, I was tired so I'm just going to write it as if I wrote it at 4am, anyway so lets get started...Well as far as I remember last night I wrote this before I went mental. Anyway after I wrote this I started talking to Mezza and ended up going to sleep past 4am, which wasn't sensible as I had 9am lectures. But it was fun just rambling for several hours, I don't even know what I talked about (yes I was rambling not her) but either way I was very tired.

Um so uni went from 9-5 because I left early but yeah from 9-3 was my module about something or other, technology anyway it was very boring and I had to spend the whole time with someone I don't really like which makes it worse. It's just too hard to sit with someone else and he really is quite annoying to me, I mean he's ok to talk to but sometimes the dramatics just get on my nerves, and 6 hours alone with him is way too much.

But yeah other than that uni was pretty rubbish, I got an email about transferring to teaching next year and they said I can do it internally through the uni so no long forms, now I'm just waiting to hear back from the head of the department to see if it's possible. Once I've done that I can then start sorting out my student finance, yay life is fun.

So yeah got back from uni and Mezza and Hoh Romeo were being less awkward with each other which was good, although that was ruined later on. Anyway so some of Romeos friends came to visit him to go clubbing. I've never been clubbing but his friends kept shouting at me and Mezza to go with them, Mezza wanted to but I wasn't sure. But eventually I just decided to go cause Mezza wasn't going to go if I didn't. So anyway we got to this club and it was ok I mean random dancing was ok and the night was ok, I wouldn't really want to go again though, I lost my voice. But that's not the interesting part. Romeo likes Mezza and so Mezza thought it would be a good idea to kiss/grind with his friend right in front of him for like 10 minutes! It was not good, after that the guy she was kissing got kicked out then Romeo punched a wall and got kicked out as well which left me and a few of his friends and Mezza alone the rest of the night, Mezza proceeded to kiss guys all night! But yeah needless to say Aaron isn't Mezzas biggest fan again, it was quite harsh.

So yeah that's why this is being written late, never mind though.

Thanks ~

Sunday

Day 13 - 07/02/2010

Hey well today has been semi fun, I guess, last night I officially completed Uncharted 2 which made me happy. It was so good it was like playing a movie which was fun. Anyway so I woke up did the usual thing of making food, then I watch CSI for a few hours and finally I started Dantes Inferno. When I started playing I did think it was a bit repetitive but I picked up the controller again not long ago and I actually think it is very good. The characters are all pretty cool and look really good. The lust lady scares me. I don't think I'm that far through yet but it is still very very cool. The levels all look really good and I like the way you level up and things, all in all I like the game and I again am going to try and finish it before I have to give it back.

As well as playing Dantes Inferno I tried Bayonetta, now the game is alright and the fighting is pretty good I just have 3 problems with it 1. I don't like the controls very much 2. The visuals kind of annoy me like the way it seems like a cut scene the whole time and the flashing and the blur, I mean I feel like I'm going blind and 3. I just don't think its my type of thing. Give me Dantes Inferno any day! I also tried the game "Resistance Fall Of Man" now considering I tried it on the easiest level I am shocked at how hard some of it is, I mean the game play itself isn't hard but you constantly get shot at and I don't like the fact that your health is on a meter thing. That makes sense to me.

Anyway that's all Ive done today, i have to go to bed now though as I have a 9am lecture and this is being silly as it is! These seem to be getting shorter and shorter but I'm doing less and less so...

Thanks ~

Saturday

Day 12 - 06/02/10

I just thought I'd write the post now as I know what I'm doing for the rest of the evening, playing Uncharted 2, well finishing Uncharted 2! So today was the big first day of work! You know it went surprisingly well, I mean don't get me wrong I messed up tonnes and the chip lady doesn't like me but I think as far as first days go it was ok. So I turn up at 11ish and I have to put on a hair net, which to be honest was the hardest part of the day! Anyway hairnet is on, so this guy takes me and shows me how to work the tills. It's easy/hard depending on how annoying the customer is. I learned how to make a McFlurry and work on the orders and things which was good. Basically times I messed up, taking the wrong order, giving people drinks they didn't ask for, over charging someone, mishearing/remembering orders, giving someone large fries instead of medium and making bad McFlurrys. So yeah, that's not so bad for my first day...

But putting the mistakes aside I think it went well, I did like working behind the till I just didn't like getting the food after I'd taken the order. I mean you have to shout for example "2 Medium" if you want 2 medium fries and the chip lady is meant to get them ready but she doesn't listen to me or I'm not loud enough so I end up having to go over and ask which she doesn't like. Ahh. On the one hand it was quite a busy shift to start at, and I'm kind of hoping that on Thursday (next time I work) it won't be so busy but I'll see. I just don't like people ordering things without stuff, like burgers without sauce or ordering take out cause then you have to get the bags ready and its awful.

Anyway so that was my first day at work, it wasn't so bad. I smell of chips but it wasn't so bad. Besides that I really have just been playing Uncharted 2, I'm trying to finish it before tomorrow so I can start on Dantes Inferno. Then I'm going to rent Bioshock 2 in 3 days and then I'll get started on the other games that I own myself. I tell I lie I realised, I did catch up on Neighbours, honestly when it comes to that show I don't know what it is but I can't help crying! Anyway that's all for today.

Thanks ~

Friday

Day 11 - 05/02/2010

So today, hmm where to start, well actually I must start at last night really. So I did as I said I would, I played Uncharted 2, it is so good! I'm in love with the game. It's so fun and I'm actually following the story which is a first, I played for like 3 hours straight which I haven't done for a while. Seriously anyone with a PS3 should have this game, it's worth getting a PS3 just for this game! So yes I think it is very very good and I don't want to give it back to Blockbuster!

Anyway so I got up this morning and still felt a little ill but its nearly gone now. I went to uni for my next two modules. The first one, introduction to computer imagery, seems quite fun, the lecturer wasn't too annoying and the workshops actually seem like they could be interesting. But I'll see. Then I had Games Fundamentals which to be honest I didn't really pay attention in, I mean as far as I can gather we make a game and have an exam. Me and a few people spent most of the time just talking about PS3/god. Two very random subjects. I also met someone new and almost managed to convince them I was a rapper from the hood. That was fun.

When I got home I went to Blockbuster and the rented Dantes Inferno, I've not played it yet I'm waiting for the weekend, I can't play tonight as I have to get up early tomorrow but after that I can play when I like. I also pre ordered the boyfriends anniversary present which is good to get it out of the way. Um then I just made dinner and scooped out half a watermelon, which was messy work. I played some more Uncharted which again was super fun. The finally the last thing I did tonight, and the best thing, was make episode 2 of "The Diary Of MC CHezza" It was so much fun to make and I spent most of the evening (well an hour) editing it together. Even if it is just small and crappy I like editing it makes time go quickly and its fun! But yeah that's my day summed up. I have to go to bed early tonight to get up in time to get ready for my first shift at McDonalds.I'm very nervous but mostly about having to put my hair up! I'm crap at that anyway...

Thanks ~

Thursday

Day 10 - 04/02/2010

Not a lot to say today, and I mean it this time. Last night after I wrote the Day 9 thing I actually found a real MC called Chezza, it was very cool. I saw one of his music videos on Youtube and he is really good. He's only 16 and he lives in the north so he has an accent but it all sounds so cool. I downloaded his album and it's just really cool. I recommend MC Chezza, the other one. I recommend myself as well. But yeah today I didn't even get up until 3, it's because I feel ill though I think. I'm tired now so I must be ill after having all that sleep. Anyway after I got up my housemate asked if I wanted to go to the giant Tesco, the Tesco near us is just an express so very small. Anyway I said yeah sure.

So we left about 4 we had to get a bus of course which took forever to arrive. When it did we had no idea what stop to get off at, we saw the Tesco and got off, turns out we got off one stop too late. The initial problem was that Tesco and us were on completely different sides of a massive motorway/dual carriage way thing. So after walking for a long time we came to an underpass which took us to the right side of the road. Then we got to Tesco and it was just massive! Two floors, hundreds of rows and shelfs, it was very cool. The only problem is that we had to carry whatever we bought which restricted us somewhat. We did seem to forget this when going round the shop though. I think I just looked for the heaviest items to buy on purpose, like a watermelon and 4 bottles of juice. I found a box of Ricicles! I thought that cereal had died out but luckily that is not the case! Anyway so we paid and of course had bought too much. It was so heavy on the walk back we both had to keep stopping and starting to give our arms a rest, I swear I was carrying like 6 stone and I am weak.

Anyway I came home and cooked myself some sweet corn and chicken. Then had a shower and now here I am. Before I go to bed I'm going to play Uncharted 2: Among Theives. Tomorrow I think I'm gonna go to Blockbuster early to try and rent Dantes Inferno when it comes out but I'm definitely not buying any new games until I have a nice bank balance!

Thanks ~

Wednesday

Day 9 - 03/02/2010

SO day 9, I really don't have as much as normal to ramble about today, I only have 2 things to talk about really 1. Playstation and 2. The Alan Carr show/Day Out. Ok so lets begin, after I wrote my entry for yesterday I decided to play the demo I had downloaded for Dantes Inferno. I have two words to describe it, ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT. It's the first game besides Bioshock 2 that I am now really looking forward to, I can't really afford to buy it and I must keep telling myself that. Especially with the trips I have to make to see my boyfriend and the anniversary present I have in mind, it all adds up and although I've started anew job it does only pay minimum wage. Anyway the demo was so good, I enjoyed every part and even watched all the cut scenes, I can't wait to play the full version of the game. I also downloaded some games from the shop and I got Hercules, Lumines, Medievil and Theme Hospital. I love PS1.

Onto number 2, my day so I got up at about 12:30 and just got ready, I waited for Mezza to finish getting ready as well we then went to London. We got to Waterloo at about 3:50 and, we were immediately very confused but we actually managed to find our way without getting lost. So we got to the ITV studios at around 4ish. Basically it was cold and raining and we had to kill an hour and a half outside. We were some of the first people at the studios queuing up so we did get in and we got our wristbands, then we had to wait yet again in the cold for about another hour. Eventually they let us into the studio which was amazing, I've never been into a TV studio and it looked so cool, the set was brilliant and it just looked so complicated. Considering we weren't priority tickets we got pretty good seats. The stage was all clear and it was all good. There was a man who was directing us in what to do as the audience and there was a lot of whooping and clapping. He played a fun game with the audience at the start which involved two girls from either side of the audience to go and get random items from the crowd to earn points, these included a womans bra and a mans pair of trousers which was quite funny.

Anyway the show isn't like a normal show because he only interviewed two people and there were lots of cuts and fills as he interviewed Katie Price the week before and then she got married so lots that they talked about wasn't relevant anymore,he basically filmed lots of shots of taking the piss out of her which was good. Alan Carr was funny and he is less weird looking in real life. Anyway yeah so the people he interviewed were Vinnie Jones, that was good and some woman called Daryl Hannah, don't know if I'm spelling that right and I didn't really know who she was I felt quite sorry for her as she fell down the steps to begin with which was embarrassing. Then this girl played a song, Corene Bailey Ray? I can't be bothered to look up their names! Anyway it was ok. But the best parts where when Alan talked to the audience and things. But yeah because it wasn't a normal show, we are a specila audience, we are going to be in the trailer for the whole season of the show and we are in two shows! yay. Basically although it was a slight let down it was still very fun and definitely worth going to. I would go again for sure.

After the show Mezza and I took a walk to the London Eye which was looking really nice and then came home again, when we got home we happened to find three porn magazines in our living room which was weird, Hustler, Young Hustler and Latin Babes I believe they were called, but hey never mind. Anyway that's really all I've done toady it's been fun but not much really happened.

Thanks ~

Tuesday

Day 8 - 02/02/2010

So day 8 here we are, and what an exciting day we have been! It started off pretty average but it got so much better. Anyway so I had my orientation at McDonalds today, it was horrible having to try and get up at 6:30 needless to say it didn't happen. I just know what I am sick to death of the song "Replay" by Iyaz. It's my alarm tone and it used to be a nice wake up call. Now it just makes me want to kill someone. So yeah I got up and toddled of to McD's. The woman was very late and there were a few other people there as well, it wasn't scary or anything, I just got set up with my uniform and my discount card! The uniform is kind of bad, the top is too big for me but the hat is so cool. I look like a gangster!

So yeah I got home expecting nothing much more from the day. I watched some TV I needed to catch up on like Desperate Housewives, which is getting good again, and some other American drama. How I Met Your Mother is one of my favourite sitcoms around that I know about myself, when I say around I mean currently airing new episodes. I read a bit more of my book, and also found out that I've got tomorrow and Thursday off university again. After watching some shows that I downloaded I went to Blockbusters to rent some new games, I ended up buying Bayonetta and renting Uncharted 2 + Killzone 2. I'm really excited about playing Killzone 2, and Bayonetta just looks cool!

I finished editing my Day 8 video, so the introduction to "The Diary Of MC CHezza" yes there is meant to be a capital H after the C, it's my alter ego's signature. I put it up on Youtube so I can show it to people I know. It's not very good but hopefully the videos will get better as it goes along. Anyway I really can't be bothered to talk about much else as it really was an average day, I haven't even had a chance to play any of my new games.

Onto the good news, my housemate Mezza has tickets to see Alan Carrs TV show where he interviews celebrities, so tomorrow I could be sitting in the audience just in front of celebritites! I've never seen a celebrity in real life and to top it off its meant to be Ricky Gervais! Katie Price! and Vinnie Jones! obviously those are written in stages of importance to me. But I'm so excited which is why I must go to bed now so I can get some sleep, although it isn't guaranteed we can get in tomorrow because they issue more tickets than they have seats, but I'm hoping we can get there in time to get in!

Ok well more interesting news A. I just broke down watching an episode of Neighbours, clearly I'm emotionally unstable right now and B. I am so tired I could cry. So on that note I feel I shall say:

Thanks ~

Monday

Day 7 - 01/01/2010

Pinch punch first of the month! Yeah I'm cool, um anyway last night after I wrote my day 6 down I was about to go to bed when I decided I must make a video! So until about 3 in the morning I was up recording vocals to my rap and making a really bad video, well it doesn't really count as much of a video...Anyway so when I did decide to go to sleep I couldn't get to sleep, i think that had something to do with the fact I didn't wake up until 3pm and then did nothing that resembled exercise. Either way I was tired when I had to wake up for uni today at 8:30. I don't know what is wrong with university these days but I have on a Monday 9am-7pm classes, that is a long day! Friday is pretty similar as well. It's not fun. Plus the lectures I had today were very boring especially for the media topic I'm doing. In the afternoon I had 4 hours of programming which didn't get of to a good start. Basically I didn't realise we were meant to boot the computer with Linux not windows so I was very confused and didn't follow the lecture at all meaning I had no clue what to do for the workshop. Luckily my house mate also did the same so I'm not the only silly one! Although one of my fellow games tech students still felt the need to shout 'Epic Fail' at us which was nice.

Besides that uni was really boring, I've also decided that the people I normally hang around with at uni aren't my sort of people. I mean they are nice enough and I enjoy their company to an extent but I'm just nothing like them, I think my mission for the next few weeks will be to try and make more friends with new people. It might make my university experience more fun, but yeah in the small break I had I went back to game and got my Ratchet and Clank disc corrected, I also maybe bought some more games...Yeah I did I spent more money, I bought Overlord 2, Devil May Cry 4, another Ratchet and Clank game and some game with the word Resistance in the title, its a shooter game. I'm kind of glad I bought the games I did because when I got to me lecture people from my course asked to see them and they were impressed, then it sparked a big conversation about games so that's good.

Also on my break while in HMV I saw this series with Eliza Dushku in it and I hadn't heard of it, I generally like things with her in although all the shows seem to get cancelled, anyway so I bought the complete series of 'Tru Calling'. It was cheap and the back made it seem good and it seems it too got cancelled mid season 2. The girl that served me in HMV said she'd seen some episodes and that it was actually a good show, a bit confusing but good. I also got tricked into buying a HMV reward card but I'm sure it will come in handy at some point. Talking of ending shows, the last episode of Dollhouse aired the other day, also starring Eliza Dushku, coincidence? But I have to wait to watch it with my boyfriend which is ok.

So yeah I didn't really get back home until about 6 (me and my housemate left the uni workshop earlier than we should) but after that I just ate, showered, re arranged the living room, and sat in Mezzas room for no reason. I started making my day 7 video "The Life Of MC CHezza" but the camera batteries died, so now they are charging and I just made a really stupid little video in about 2 seconds for today. I haven't really had time to do anything today it's confusing, I mean I have all these games but no time to play them, it's not right. Tonight we (Mezza and I) have been picking out new pictures to print out and put on our wall of family pictures so that will be fun. We are also discussing making the living room into a fort which I think sounds just really really fun!

Anyway I have to go to bed soon because I have to get up at 6:30 to get ready to go to McDonalds for my orientation. I'm nervous yet again but I'm sure it will be ok, well that's all I have to say I guess.

Thanks ~

Sunday

Day 6 - 31/01/2010

So today is day 6 and I think I'm doing quite well so far, I think this is the longest I've stuck at anything! But about my day, well I woke up at 11 which I wasn't happy with. I then fell back asleep and woke up again at about 3. I then went to iceland which is just a lovely place, so much cheap food and mostly it all tastes pretty nice. I bought a pizza and it had sweet chili sauce instead of the tomato puree stuff! I couldn't believe it because I love sweet chili sauce but I hate tomato puree. Basically the pizza was very very tasty and cheap. When I got back to the house I decided I couldn't take it anymore and started to clean up, in the end I didn't bother with the floor cause its just too gross. But I did all the washing up and wiped all the surfaces, took out the bins and recycling and everything. I feel better now!

I tried out some of my new games today, Legendary, what can I say about that game. Ok well first of all I judge games within like the first 5 minutes or so of play and I don't think I'll be playing Legendary very often, the controls were all clunky and confusing and the surroundings weren't very impressive either. Little Big Planet won't work on my PS3 which is really annoying, it needs to install something but it always gets an error at some point, I really wanted to play that game! Siren Blood Curse is the survival horror game I rented, I played about half an hour of that and it was quite good, I didn't really like the controls and camera and I think I'm kind of over the whole survival horror thing, but I would probably recommend it. It was creepy. Anyway I'm saving the best until last. inFamous! It is the best game! I love it, I played Prototype and it is very similar to that but it feels so much nicer and I love the whole electricity thing! I only played a little but but I'm sure I'll write more about it when I play more.

So I found out that tomorrow I have uni from 9-7! I can't believe it, that is one long day. Its some kind of media tech lecture in the morning then a few hours of programming lectures and workshops. I hate my life. Not really. But yeah more about my day. My housemate Mezza came home which is good, some sanity. Unfortunately my housemates decided they wanted to get drunk tonight and then they all went out to this party thing. But I don't care really it's more peaceful, I just wanted some peace and quiet tonight. But I'm glad things are going to get back to normal.

I'm so excited two weeks today and I get to go to my boyfriends uni to see him! It's been three weeks on Thursday since I've seen him and that makes me sad, but yeah I get to spend valentines day with him with will be nice I hope. I'm not sure what valentines gift to get him but I think I'll just go with chocolate and sweets that we can eat together, valentines day isn't that big a deal so some small gifts should be fine. The card I got him is amazing! It has a bear that come sort of the card! We have a tradition with all our cards being those tatty teddy cards (I stick to it more than he does, sometimes he doesn't get me them) He also gets me lots of little tatty teddy bears and other teddy bears which I love, we call them strange names like Francois and Henirich but I like our traditions. Anyway that's all I've done today.

Thanks ~

Saturday

Day 5 - 30/01/2010

Hmm well the first thing I have to say today is that my boyfriend is evil, now if he reads this he will understand. Anyway today has been a pretty good day! I managed to sleep until 12 which was good as I got caught up with my sleep sort of. After I got up I went to the town on the bus to do some shopping, I need some shoes for work and I also went to get some food as well. The bus ride on the way there was more fun than normal, this lady came on with the cutest child ever she kept smiling at me, but the funniest part was when she frowned at this woman who was dressed like a man (so a lesbian) it's like she knew something wasn't right, it was very cute. Anyway black leather grippy closed shoes for women are impossible to find! I went to hundreds of shops and finally gave into the fact I may have to buy childrens school shoes instead. So I went into clarks thinking all I would find is childrens shows but they actually do make shoes for adults, anyway so I spent £35 on shoes which I'm not happy about especially as they are ugly but they were like the cheapest pair.

So after that I went and bought some noodles, and at this point I was debating in my mind whether or not to purchase a PS3, I mean I have the money, well I will have when I start work. But I wasn't sure whether or not to get it and risk not having money. Obviously I made the smart choice in the end and paid out hundreds of pounds! But I now have a PS3 which is the greatest thing ever. I got 3 games, Ratchet and Clank (the new one), Infamous and Legendary. I then went to blockbusters and rented little big planet and some Japanese survival horror game. I went to play my Ratchet and Clank game and it turns out they've given me the wrong one! The game had the case of the new game but the disc inside was of an old game. So now I have to take it back to the shop but alternatively it does mean I get to play 2 different Ratchet and Clank games.

The PS3 does take quite a while to install things but it is oh so beautiful! Anyway I also rented some films like Fox and the hound and fox and the hound 2 which I'm excited about. But yeah tonight I just made a new video, had a shower, did some washing, read my book and talked to my boyfriend. That's actually the reason I'm technically posting this on Sunday. But I haven't gone to bed yet so its still Saturday! Our conversation was really nice we were talking about engagement rings and wedding rings (not for any reason just a random conversation) and he looked up ones he would want and what ring he would give me and they were all so lovely, if we ever do get engaged I can't wait to see what he gets me! I'm now optimistic about his choices.

Oh something I forgot, I also bought a cactus. It's lovely. Anyway I'm very tired now so i think I'll stop writing but yes today has been a good day all in all I think. Especially thanks to my wonderful boyfriend.

Thanks ~

Friday

Day 4 - 29/01/2010

Hmm well today I'm feeling tired/very tired so I think I'll keep this to a minimum. So today I got up and basically just got ready and packed up my things to go back to the uni home. I got to the coach station and then went to Primark and bought some t-shirts before getting on the coach, however, I didn't check what kind of t-shirts they are and they ended up being really long which I don't particularly like but hey they are cheap. Anyway so I got on my coach and I decided to film my coach journey mainly cause I'm weird.

The video is stupid though I was having problems making it. It wasn't saving onto my computer so I had to mess around with it and now it's bad quality. I have a HD camcorder which is what I used but I guess it's too much for windows movie maker to handle...Maybe a mac is good for something.

When I got to London Victoria I took the tube to Waterloo to get my train home, when I got home I pretty much went straight to Blockbusters to trade in all my xbox games, I didn't get much money for them but I normally sell them over the internet. Posting is so much hastle! Anyway I tried to buy a PS3 because they come with a months unlimited PS3 or blu-ray rentals which is pretty cool and I think the console is pretty much the same price in there anyway. The one I was going to buy came with a free copy of Bayonetta which looks quite good, it's not a game I would normally choose but something about the PS3 makes it seem like a good game...Anyway they didn't have any so I didn't buy one. What an uniteresting end to the story.

Since then I've just been watching friends and I finished a puzzle that I was working on here. Now I'm going to curl up in bed and read my book. As I think I said before it is very cold in the uni house so bed is the best place to be at all possible times...Good news, The beast was here but he went out again so hopefully he won't be coming back and I can have a peaceful nights sleep. Mezza is coming back on sunday which is too long away, I need some sanity. The kitchen was and is disgusting! The floor is sticky and there were bin bags everywhere, I hope The Beast gets round to cleaning it because I really don't want to have to. (I say don't want to have to cause I can't live in the mess for too long without feeling like I need to clean it, I already took out some of the binbags) Yeah someone also drank all my milk, so I left a note on the milk saying 'If you want milk go to the shop don't steal mine' which I think will get the message through loud and clear! Or not.

Thanks ~

Thursday

Day 3 - 28/01/2010

Hello again, so today has been a day of reflection. I've been thinking about my problems and how best to address them. But most importantly I've been thinking about the future and where life is taking me. Neither of those things are simple and to be honest I didn't make much headway with my thinking. With regards to my problems, well if they are related to people then I think the best thing is collect my thoughts and have discussions with the people in question. The rest of my problems are largely related to my future.

The way I see it I have 4 options currently. Firstly I could stick out my course at this university, try my best and then do my PGCE and be qualified for a job. Second, I could try and change universities, whether its a transfer or just a complete fresh start. Third, I could try and go back to 6th form and get another A level to give me better options for the future. Last but not least I could just quite university and try and work, see if that helps me figure out what I want to do in life.

The first option seems the most likely and straightforward path to take but I'll be honest, the university I am at does make me unhappy, what if I stick it out only to fail or drop out at a later date. The second option is just complicated, I mean transferring would be ok but then seeing as I still don't know what course I would like to do it seems that if I change universities or courses I could just be walking into the same thing again. The third option has its benefits, I can better prepare for university and maybe I need an extra year to mature but then again it would also feel like I'm taking a step backwards in life, but is it better to take one step back to open up more opportunities or keep going and feel like your not moving anywhere? The last option again I don't think would suit me.

The thing is if I do drop out whats the point, I'll end up going back at some point in the future why not get it over with now? Although I might be more prepared and ready when I'm older. There are other complications for example I need to make my decision by march time because if I stay at this uni I need to rent another house and it's all so very complicated and stressful. But hey that's what being young is about I guess.

So anyway apart from all that today has been an average day. This morning I went to the doctors, my mum booked me an appointment for 9:30 which I must say I struggled to get up for. I bought a book at the charity shop, a James Patterson book for 99p, although its got weird brown stains, its best not to question what they are I think. I bought myself my Saturday lottery ticket, surprise surprise I did not win last night, I matched 2 numbers though so I'm getting closer...

My old teacher came buy to get my xbox from me, I made some money which was nice. I have now officially held a £50 note! I packed my stuff, unfortunately I'm going back to my university home tomorrow. The next term lasts until June with only a weeks break for Easter, I think I'm going to die. Whenever I get change like 1p or 2p coins I put them in my money draw, today i counted them, I have £18 which isn't bad.

Anyway I think that's all from me, now to carry on watching CSI! I may live a boring life to some people but for the most part I'm happy with my existence and I feel sorry for people who can't be happy on their own and need people all the time.

Thanks ~

Day 2 - 27/01/2010

Well today has been an ok day, I got up at 12ish watched some CSI which was good, I'm on season 7 at the moment. I really want to know if Gill and Sarah are having an affair but I'm not going to research it online because I want to wait and see!

I went shopping in the afternoon with my mother, picked up a new hoodie, which I put a picture of on my profile, and then a couple of books. I'm most excited about the Karen Rose book "I Can See You". I read the back of that and immediately wanted it. It was only available in hard back and was £12.99 which I feel is expensive for a book but I was desperate enough to buy it! It looks good, Karen Rose is a pretty good writer, currently I'm reading her book "Kill For Me" which is part of a set of three or four? I hadn't read a book since the last Alex Rider book came out (Ark Angel) but then I went into Waterstones and saw "Crocodile Tears" was out! I bought it straight away I mean yeah its a teenage boys book series but I love it. Anyway since then I've been reading a lot more than normal and buying quite a few books. James Patterson is pretty good too and you've gotta love his chapters, some are like two pages in length!

Oh yeah I also got myself a KFC, it was very nice hot wings are sooooo nice. I think that my favourite fast food chains go 1. McDonalds 2. KFC 3. Burger King. McDonalds have the best fries without a doubt, KFCs are the worst. Anyway enough about food that makes people fat, who loves fruit! Yeah I went to Tesco and bought fruit as well...Yay for pointless information.

Anyway after that I just watched some CSI and listened to some music, life is fun. Currently I'm watching Crime Watch which in my opinion is one of the best shows on BBC, I love the reconstructions and everything. I'm weird I suppose oooh and I've got my lottery ticket for tonight, will I be a millionaire? I doubt it but it still excites me when the numbers are called. Well anyway I think that's all from me for today!

Thanks ~

Tuesday

Day 1 - 26/01/2010

Ok well here goes my mini adventure of random blogging of my life for as long as I can without giving up! Anyway so today I had a job interview for McDonalds, had to get up at 7:30 which was very stressful, I kept going back to bed at regular intervals for warmth. Uni house is so cold! Also I was very tired as I didn't get much sleep last night cause of noise, it wasn't as bad as normal the beast* turned of the bass at least. Yeah I also ended up sleeping on mezzas floor because her room is more sound proofed than my own. Anyway so I get the bus to the town and get to McDonalds, I'm not a very good interviewee clearly as he asked me if I was stressed.

I really wasn't prepared for the questions the man was going to ask me, I mean what qualities do I have, the only ones I could think of were hard working, motivated and good time keeper. As my boyfriend so nicely pointed out later the first of those two were lies. Speaking of lies when it came to him asking about my hobbies I don't think I could have been more weird/lied anymore. Because apparently i play badminton with a club now. Anyway as it stands I have got the job and I start next Friday, I have an orientation on Tuesday which for some reason is going to take two and a half hours. I have to do the overnight shifts which sounds exciting....but money is money and I love the money. I mean come on Bioshock 2 is coming out soon!

After my surprisingly quick interview (lasted about 10 minutes) I went back to uni home to find the two finger beast and friends still passed out in our living room, the kitchen looked even more disgusting than ever. Anyway then I packed up my essentials and bought my ticket back to my home city by coach! The journey was fun...2 and a half hours of the new You Me At Six album as I hadn't gotten round to updating my mp3. I fell asleep for some of it but not the boring part. I fell asleep on the way out of London but then luckily woke up in time to catch an hour and a half of fields and sheep. You gotta love sheep, especially the black ones!

So anyway then I got home and since then I've just been relaxing on my laptop and reading my book, Kill for me by Karen Rose. I really do love a good murder/crime book. Side note: Dr Pepper is the best drink! I've been browsing the internet looking for the new games that I want to play, I'm really excited for Bioshock 2, Dantes Inferno, Aliens vs Predator, Skate 3 and Dead Rising 2. The last two aren't out for a while but I'm still excited. I'm kind of intrigued by the new mario game fr the wii as well, I might give that a rent when I get back to uni. More game stuff, well when I get my PS3 I'm so gonna play Ratchet and Clank!!!!! I think the PS3 has better exclusive titles, I mean the Gears of War games were good but PS3 wins it for me. Plus Sony were the pioneers in the Crash Bandicoot series, they can't be beaten in my opinion. On my wii at the moment I'm loving the Warioland game shake something? Cant remember the full name but its good.

I really want someone to bring out a pokemon game on the wii or any console like the gameboy ones, so like having pokemon red or blue or saphire or whatever but on your TV. That is my dream that someday that will happen! I know what I'm getting my boyfriend for our anniversary now, Final Fantasy 13, it comes out on our anniversary so its perfect! Anyway I'm gonna go now and watch some episodes of House. I could ramble about TV forever on here now but I'm going to leave it at that for today.

Thanks ~

*the name two finger beast comes from two things, one he talked about masturbating with two fingers when he was young because you only need two when it was small and the beast thing just comes from the rap I wrote for our house rap battle.

Introduction

First let me begin by writing a little bit about myself, my name is Francesca and currently I am 18 years old. I started university in September and moved from my home town to the city of London. I am studying Games Technology which is basically computer programming but supposedly more fun...I don't live in halls because I didn't get a place but I do live in a rented house with 3 other people. I have a lovely boyfriend who is studying chemistry at university. He's very clever and gorgeous and lovely. My hobbies include computer games (obviously), badminton, extreme sports, reading, puzzles, TV, comics, doing childish things and making money. But who doesn't enjoy that.

Well that's the basics sorted, now I think I'll move on to the finer details...Ok so living in London it's actually quite fun there's many things I enjoy about living in/near the big city. For one I find London a lot less intimidating than my home city. Whats there to be scared of in London, the buses talk! Need I say more.

Um well university, sure its going ok so far, I just completed semester 1 and I think I passed all my modules. I'm sort of confused with life when it comes to university and the degree I'm doing and then the future and where it will all take me and such. As much as I like computer games and the idea of making them the course isn't motivating me as much as I hoped. I was thinking about finishing my degree then doing a PGCE afterwards to become a primary school teacher but I honestly have no idea! I hate the future.

Moving on, so my housemates yeah they are all cool I'm having some issues with one of them because he can't seem to understand that bass does come through the walls and floors and things and that not everyone wants to go to bed at 7am, especially when they have tests or job interviews the next day...Basically he's quite unreasonable and an absolute pig, he eats and takes what isn't his and I don't know what he's been doing in the kitchen lately but I don't want to touch anything in there...My other two housemates are really nice though we do lot's of random things like have rap battles and decorate each others doors and dress up like gangsters and things its very fun in my house. Our neighbours are a bit annoying they are an old couple and you make the slightest bit of sound they complain, normally its only when my annoying housemate is there they complain, pattern? Ok to make this easier annoying boy housemate will be known as "the beast" nice boy housemate as "hoh romeo" and nice girl housemate as "Mezza". If you look on my dailybooth account which there will be a link for somewhere I expect I will upload some pictures of our fun times at some point.

As a closing for my introduction I shall just say that I enjoy many movies and lots of music. I own a wii and xbox 360 but we all know the PS3 rules, I shall trade up soon!

Thanks ~
